Time To Live

A gas station as reception area at a hotel which names itself „Luxuslodge“ (luxury lodge). What may seem to be an unusual combination, proves to be a sophisticated concept for a break from everyday life immediately after arriving. Christine Schwaighofer, a gas station operator in Annaberg in the Lammertal Valley realized her idea of the perfect holiday home just three years ago. The three chalets “Bischofsmütze”, “Mahdalm” and “Riedelkar” are the proof that the word „perfect“ is in no way an exaggeration.

With the Luxuslodge Christine Schwaighofer managed to create a place where you can find a time out from everyday life and thus “time to live”. One almost hopes for bad weather to enjoy the lovingly equipped chalets to the fullest and let go of that phone for the rest of the stay.

The materials used and the many decor details testify that the hostess has put her heart and soul into the luxury lodge to allow her guests to get real cosy. The chalets are furnished with many natural materials, so that upon opening of the door a pleasant scent rises into the nose immediately creating a sense of comfort. Besides rustic and modern bedrooms and a very cozy living-dining area, the chalets have luxurious bathrooms with sauna and relaxation room and a wood-fired hottub outdoors.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast. Every morning a beautiful basket is delivered early, so that upon waking up fresh pastries from the bakery await on your doorstep. For us there is no better way to kick off the day to then go explore the mountains of the Salzburger Land ?
